Museum under construction at former German death camp in Poland

Work to build a new museum has begun at the site of the former Nazi German death camp in Sobibór, eastern Poland.

Sobibór is where the Germans murdered some 170,000 Jews from Poland and other European countries during World War II. The camp operated from March 1942 to October 1943.
